The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association will hold its annual Installation and Service Awards Party and Dance on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Memorial Hall, 3601 Rutherglen St. The evening will start at 6:30 PM with a social gathering featuring cocktails and finger foods.
At approximately 8:00 PM, President Ron Martin will deliver his Welcoming Address followed by the Invocation by Chaplain Sam Faraone.
Next, the Association will present the "Member of the Year" Award, other top awards and the Service Awards to members for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of service to the community, as members of the EPMPOA.
Then, the incoming Executive Board will be installed. These Officers and Directors were elected or ran unopposed and will serve a two-year term to represent members at their respective regions, but in reality serve to assist and represent all members. These are the incoming Executive Board Class I and Class II Directors:
President - Ron Martin
2nd Vice President - David Hernandez
Region I (CRCC):
Santiago Mejia
Chris Widman
J.D. Cotham
Region III (PHRC):
Joe Olvera
Julio Sanchez
Rick Yanez
Region V (WSRC):
Edwin Mayorga
Jorge Santana
After all of the awards and kudos are handed out, the evening will continue with dancing to a variety of music played by a Deejay until 1:00 AM. We hope to see you there!
Congratulations to everyone who is receiving an award! We hope that you will be able to attend and receive it in person. Members receiving an award as well as their spouse and/or immediate family members can attend for free! This year there is no need to call and make reservations, all we ask is that you arrive on time so that you can sit with your entire party.
