The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of Detective Richard B. Allbee Jr., #2171, who died on February 9, 2020 while off-duty, after being involved in a traffic crash with a suspected drunk driver in Arizona. Detective Allbee, who was 51 years of age, served with the El Paso Police Department for almost 19 years, from March 2001 until his untimely death.
Funeral Services for Detective Richard B. Allbee Jr. are as follows:
Wednesday, February 19, 2020:
-Viewing (open to the public): 5:00 to 9:00 PM at San Antonio De Padua Catholic Church, 503 Hunter Dr.
-Rosary Serivce at 6:00 PM
Thursday, February 20, 2020:
-Funeral Mass at 12:30 PM at San Antonio Catholic Church, 503 Hunter Dr.
After the Funeral Mass, a Committal Service will be held at approximately 2:00 PM at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave.
Detective Richard B. Albee Jr. will receive Police Honors.
