The El Paso Police Department posted a photo on Facebook of Officer Daniel Rodriguez standing up and using a walker in the hospital.
Rodriguez was driving a motorcycle while escorting a funeral procession when he was struck by a driver trying to cut through the procession on May 23.
Police said in their Facebook post that Rodriguez remains positive and is continuing to improve his road to recovery.
