Police Academy Graduates New Officers

The El Paso Police Department has added thirty-one (31) officers to their ranks after the graduation of the 120th academy class on Monday, November 28, 2016. The rookie officers graduated in a ceremony held at UTEP’s Magoffin Auditorium. The new officers will be assigned to patrol duties at the various Police Regional Command Centers. The 120th Academy Class graduated five female officers and twenty-six male officers, all of whom signed up as members of the El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association. The El Paso Police Department now has 1,043 officers.
